FAQ - Buggies

Q. Do the buggies make much noise?
A. The majority of electric golf buggies use worm drive gearbox's which are virtually inaudible.

Q. What are the benefits of a distance function button?
A. The distance function is there to help you direct your buggy without having to hold it or worry about setting the speed to your walking pace. Care must be taken to ensure the distance function is not used in downhill situations as the buggy will continue to free wheel after the controller has stopped driving the motor.

Q. Your new controller seems complicated with all the beeps and flashes... is it all necessary?
A. Our competitors would say it is not necessary to have the functions we have and it just complicates your golfing experience. We say--better to know than not.
Our CONPIC controller has been designed with all buggies common failings in mind. Most of the error functions (red light series) will very rarely be seen, however, if you ever do encounter a fault you will be able to self diagnose (or contact a repairer) without having to take everything to an expert to find out what is wrong. Both green and orange functions are for your information on what mode the controller is in and what condition the battery is in, so although it may seem complicated, it really is very easy to use.
