Review: Motocaddy M7 Remote

Review: Motocaddy M7 Remote

If you visit any golf course around Australia, you will notice that lots of golfers are using a remote electric golf buggy. With recent improvements in technology, design and functionality, Motocaddy have unveiled their latest remote buggy the M7. An upgrade from their previous S7 model, this buggy is packed with features to make any golfer happy.

M7 Remote Control Upgrade

With a design upgrade to the remote control making it more ergonomic, I found the buttons to be responsive. The remote also feature a lock button – preventing accidental button pushes. This is in addition to the regular buttons for forward, left, right, reverse and stop.

The M7 Remote features a USB port under the handle therefore allowing the remote to be charged during the round. Therefore, eliminating the need to charge at home and possibly forgetting it.

The remote feature makes using this buggy a lot easier than steering by holding onto the handles. And being able to still direct the trolley whilst looking for your golf partners’ ball is helpful.

When not using the remote control, you can still use it as a regular electric golf buggy with the hand controls. Simply adjust the speed with the control knob. When wanting to reuse the remote, just press any button and away you go.

Functionallity Redesigned

The M7 Remote golf buggy is an upgrade on their previously popular model the S7, but with a major upgrade. The main upgrade is a full colour, anti-glare LCD screen which means you can see it in any light. The new folding design and the Ultra 28.8-volt Lithium battery make this a real winner amongst golfers everywhere.

Other features included with the Motocaddy M7 Remote are swivel front wheels, high traction winter wheels, and unique Motocaddy Slim-Fold design to allow storage in most smaller cars. The buggy comes standard with a high capacity 28.8v lithium battery meaning you get more power and holes out of a single charge.

Overall, this buggy is simple to use and packed with plenty of features. The Motocaddy M7 Remote electric golf buggy is a welcome challenger to the market leading MGI Zip Navigator. Other models in the M Series range are the M1, M5 GPS, M5 DHC and M5 DHC GPS. Available from Hillside Golf Buggies with a graphite frame from only $2,099.
